# Supported fiat currencies, networks, and crypto assets

> See the fiat currencies, payment methods, blockchain networks, and crypto assets PeerPesa supports for onramps and offramps on Stellar and Celo.

PeerPesa converts between five African fiat currencies and stablecoins or native tokens on the Stellar and Celo networks. Use this page to check which combinations you can quote, and call [GET /currencies](/api-reference/coins) to read the live list from the API.

## Fiat currencies

| `KES` | Kenyan Shilling | Kenya |
| `TZS` | Tanzanian Shilling | Tanzania |
| `NGN` | Nigerian Naira | Nigeria |
| `ZAR` | South African Rand | South Africa |
| `ZMW` | Zambian Kwacha | Zambia |

Fiat is collected (onramp) or paid out (offramp) through `mobile_money` or `bank_transfer`. Available methods vary by country, so check the `methods` array returned for each currency.

## Networks and assets

      Offramp deposits on Stellar require the `memo` returned when you confirm an offramp quote. Deposits without the correct memo cannot be matched to your transaction.

    Bitcoin is available for [deposit wallets](/api-reference/deposit-wallets), including Lightning addresses and invoices.

<Note>
  `USDC` is available on both networks. Always pass `network` together with `asset` so PeerPesa knows which chain to use.

Call [GET /currencies](/api-reference/coins) to read the live list of coins, the networks each one runs on, network status, fees, withdrawal limits, and prices.
