PeerPesa converts between five African fiat currencies and stablecoins or native tokens on the Stellar and Celo networks. Use this page to check which combinations you can quote, and call GET /currencies to read the live list from the API.

Fiat currencies

Fiat is collected (onramp) or paid out (offramp) through mobile_money or bank_transfer. Available methods vary by country, so check the methods array returned for each currency.

Networks and assets

Network identifier: stellar
Offramp deposits on Stellar require the memo returned when you confirm an offramp quote. Deposits without the correct memo cannot be matched to your transaction.
USDC is available on both networks. Always pass network together with asset so PeerPesa knows which chain to use.
